📢 We’re looking for predoctoral researchers for the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) call!

CDIF is looking for a candidate to apply to the following Grant for the recruitment of young researchers, within the fields of hydropower and electrical energy storage. This field is included within the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP). This grant program funds the recruitment of predoctoral research staff in training to carry out a PhD thesis for 3 years.

The grant includes funding for mobility and the option to carry out part of the PhD abroad.

What’s more, the candidate will be able to participate in the most ambitious Horizon project (STOR-HY: Innovative Storage in Hydropower) regarding the storage of electrical energy with reversible power plants. The project has the most important members and agents related to hydropower in countries like Switzerland, France, Portugal, Germany and Norway.

Grant application requirements (see call requirements):
✅ Applicants must have finished a Master’s degree or at least 60 ECTS of a Master’s degree.
✅ Applicants must hold the nationality of an EU country.
