CDIF at PEN@Hydropower Event in Malta

Last week, CDIF Director Alexandre Presas took part in Day 3’s Round Table at the PEN@Hydropower Event in Saint Julian’s (Malta). The event, which took place from May 21st to 23rd, gathered a network of experts to share their insights on research and foster cross-sector collaborations.

The event included round tables, workshops, meetings and education panels on hydropower innovation, social acceptance, gender equality, and the future of energy.

On Day 3 Recap: Digitalisation, Collaboration, and the Future of Hydropower, experts from EU-funded projects, like STOR-HY, reflected on how digital tools impact system performance and sustainability, as well as the opportunities and challenges that result from them.
