CDIF at EPRI’s European Workshop Week 2025

Last week, EPRI held the first Hydropower session within their European Workshop Week 2025 in Barcelona, which brought together over 250 participants including grid and generation operators, utilities, EPRI’s subject matter experts and energy stakeholders.

Its workshops were focused on the application of the latest findings from leading projects and the definition of collaborative responses to the challenges facing the energy transition.

Alexandre Presas, Director of CDIF, was invited to participate in the session with his presentation ‘Addressing vibration challenges in hydro turbines'. In it, he gave insights into advanced vibration monitoring systems and commented on some selected case studies.
